PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for supporting the Compensation functions. Assists in the analyses of jobs and salaries in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance of the company's pay practices. Assists in activities such as survey participation and salary planning by collecting and providing data. Researches information and provides recommendations for compensation related projects.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics. Experience: Two years of related experience in Human Resources, or reporting/data analysis is required. Experience working with variable and fixed compensation programs and job analysis is preferred. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Basic knowledge of compensation plans and program design and administration. Ability to prioritize work, handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, and complete projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Ability to manage projects from inception through completion. Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion. Ability to develop effective working relationships to gain trust and establish credibility at all organizational levels. Ability to analyze complex data and able to communicate observations in a simplified manner. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Data management skills. Strong skills in problem-solving and sound judgement. Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills. Proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. This position requires the ability to travel between sites as needed. 2. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. 3. Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods on a daily basis. 4. Physical requirements for this position include hearing, seeing, speaking, feeling, talking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, fingering, and repetitive motions. 5. This position requires sitting for long periods of time and walking and/or standing is only required occasionally. 6. This position requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force and/or an insignificant amount in order to lift, carry, pull, or move objects

  • MINIMUM of 3 years experience in compensation or HIGH level HR experience.
  • Immediate hire- expected to last 3 months. Could extend longer. 
  • Pay will depend on experience. $24-$32.50/hr.
